Care Instructions
Sterling Silver
Sterling silver jewelry, as well as sterling jewelry made with MOST gemstones, may be cleaned with any liquid jewelry cleaner made for ONLY sterling silver (using a general jewelry cleaner is NOT reccommended)
Never leave sterling jewelry in the cleaning solution. It should be dipped quickly, or for up to a few seconds, depending on the amount of tarnish, and then rinsed with warm water for up to a minute to remove all the cleaning solution.
Fragile: Handle with Care!
Fragile or porous items such as pearls (any kind), turquoise, coral, gaspeite, and a few other stones, should NEVER be cleaned with a liquid jewelry cleaner. It will either compromise the nacre (the lustrous part of a pearl), the surface polish, or the color of the stones, which can never be reversed.
Some gemstone beads are fragile, and ultrasonic cleaners are also not reccommended.
If you are ever unsure of the treatment, please contact Intermezzo Designs or any jewelry professional before attempting to clean your jewelry.
Jewelry can also be gently cleaned with a soft jewelry polishing cloth.

We'll Clean it for You!
For a nominal charge, you may request to mail your jewelry to us for cleaning. You will be responsible for all postage, and depending on how many pieces are being sent, a nominal fee may apply.
Cleaning service will not be limited to jewelry created by Intermezzo Designs.
Disclaimer: We will take the utmost care and utilize our professional expertise in the care of your jewelry. However, because we are unaware of how your jewelry was worn, stored, handled or treated before it comes to us for cleaning, we will not be responsible for any damage that occurs to your jewelry in the cleaning process. However, any damages that are our fault (ie: we drop it and a stone breaks) will be covered and repaired before return.
